SPIRITUAL HOMES
Deo optimo maximo

All through his life Marcello was on a search for truth about life and the road to follow. He was also a man who could enjoy a good laugh and, accordingly, kept looking for the surprise solution, or odd remark.  Consequently, many people have not taken the names he gave to his spiritual homes all too seriously.

Marcello read a lot and was especially preoccupied with mythology, legends and mysticism. Reading as much as he did, he chose the names of Sameti, Arjuna and Svarga for a good reason. There is little doubt that he answered the call expressed in Hindu mythology of erecting as many temples as possible on his own way to re-incarnation.At Svarga there were in all 8 such “temples”.

In fact, both Sameti, Arjuna and Svarga, although built to house his family and friends,  seem to have been erected as meeting places, or "temples", for a cosmic meeting between the individual human being and his deity. Looking closer at Marcello’s "temples", you get hints about the connection between these and his own spiritual development throughout his life.
